Anonymity in Cyberspace
In the age of anonymity on the World Wide Web, avatars and gender swapping, we have the opportunity to try out diverse roles, enjoy them at will, change - and - discard them again. The anonymity of the Internet offers us a space in which we can reinvent ourselves again and again. At the same time, it raises the question of who we really are and what our real identity is.
Contribution to "VISUAL TRANSACTION", a poster campaign in Manchester by Desire Press
In 2016, the term fake news grew and broke into the mainstream. The boundaries between real information and entertainment become more and more fluid.
Daily Noise addresses not only the psychological reasons why fake news are spread and why we believe them, but also encourages the reader to question his own news consumption as a part of this problem. In addition to the publication, a short film composed of entertainment and news material on the internet was created. In collaboration with Lena Manger.
The focus of the project is the translation of poetry in form of creative movement, performance and dance. Normally, dance and poetry are seen as separated forms of art, now they complement each other and obtain a more intense expression.
The special relation between words and movement and how they enhance each other is shown. In this process the dance itself is not a completely new interpretation of a poem, it aims to convey the meaning verse by verse instead. In collaboration with Lena Manger.
